Dementia Friendly Design
Dementia Friendly Design will support people with dementia and their carers within their home environment. For such people, D&G HandyVan will, for example:-
o provide contrasting coloured grab rails;
o undertake small adaptations, eg. such as replacing an opaque kitchen cupboard door with a glass door to enable the person to see what is in their cupboard;
o change light bulbs to give maximum lighting.
Clicking on the following "Download File" links below will provide you with information and diagrams of helpful items available for people suffering from dementia or memory loss.
